You can track calls as conversion on your Google Adwords account using CallRoot’s Google Adwords integration. CallRoot logs call, coming from Google PPC ads, as conversion on your Google Adwords account.
CallRoot tracks the Google Click ID (gclid) when a user visits your page by clicking on Google PPC ad, this gclid is sent to your Google Adwords account as conversion, once the user makes a call to your CallRoot campaign tracking number.
Follow the steps given below to integrate your Google Adwords account with your CallRoot account:
- Click on Integrations from the sidebar of your CallRoot dashboard.
- Look for Google Adwords from the list of integrations and click on “Connect” to connect your Google Adwords account.
- Enter your Google Adword Customer ID and click on Proceed.
- Now you will be redirected to Google Adwords, select the Google Adwords account and click on “Allow”. Please make sure you are connecting the correct account of which you have entered the customer ID in step 2.
That’s it! Your Google Adwords account is now connected to your CallRoot account. CallRoot will create a goal on your Google Adwords account with the name “PhoneCall”, where you can see the conversions once a lead calls on CallRoot’s tracking number.
